If I could give 0 stars I would. I took my dog to this practice due to a mass on her back near her shoulder blades. A needle sample was taken which came back undiagnosable. Following this a biopsy was recommended. Due to having extreme anxiety at the vets my dog was prescribed trazodone and gabapentin before being taken in for her biopsy. During the day we received a call telling us that the lump could not be found and that the vet was not happy to proceed with the biopsy. When we picked her up, the mass was in fact still there. We were then charged for the sedation despite the fact that no procedure was in fact done. This has resulted in further anxiety for my dog, and no answers whatsoever. I made a formal complaint which was responded to with a complete lack of empathy and most of our questions completely unanswered. My email following up has since been left unanswered. They seemed more interested in explaining away their wrong doings than taking accountability and improving services for future clients. They have tried to claim that the mass has changed, despite the fact that the vet that saw my dog was not the same vet that did the procedure and the patient notes had no description of what the mass was like. The mass is still there now, weeks later, but they completely disregarded our opinion as owners that handle and see our dog on a daily basis.

I brought in my really sick baby bunny, they told me she’s really sick and she probably wont make it. Instead of telling me it’s probably better putting her down they pumped her with medication WITHOUT TELLING ME and made me pay over 200 pound for it. Inhumane and sickening. Im not even a vet and I knew it would have been better just putting her down and letting her rest. 1 star dont go vets4pets they only want your money. RIP Lola they made you suffer for another 24 hrs for no reason before you died in my arms.

I know that vets are a business but you wouldn't know, the staff are so nice to people. Honestly I have been heartbroken & they cried with me & I've been so blessed & they have shared my joy. They have the personal touch that makes you feel like your not alone. All my animals have been treated with the best care. Gamston vets for pets is the best.

Been our vets for a number of years. All the staff have been great. Had to recently take my very poorly dog Tess who they got in straight away to assess. They were very thorough, patient and kind. unfortunately Tess had to be put to sleep which was done in our car. Thankyou to the lovely vet that made her passing peaceful and for the many years of looking after our lovely Tess.

If you want a personal and nice experience for your unwell pet, do not go to Gamston Vets for pets! Firstly the rudest receptionists I have ever come across. After calling repeatedly to try and get an appointment, when you eventually get through you are faced with the rudest and most unhelpful receptionists, you are purely just a number there and I felt every appointment was rushed. After reading many reviews left I feel reassured it wasn’t just my experience. I took my Dog there for the first 4 years of its life, we now ( thanks to a recommendation ) go to Rushcliffe vets, which is a whole different experience for myself and my beloved Dog.
